I’m in Lech, a fairytale village in the Alps for a concert with Kit Armstrong to prepare for our Kings Place outings next week.
We’re playing in the Allmeinde, which is a renowned and extraordinary architectural conversion of a huge old hay barn – great acoustic, and fabulous giant windows looking out onto the mountains. By coincidence 800 philosophers are converging here today for a conference, so it should at least be a thoughtful audience.
